Many people know about the Three Peaks challenges, however the people embarking on these challenges are usually driven by the ‘challenge’ of completion, with the scenery being of only secondary consideration. The Dales 30 provides a completely different sort of challenge. A more leisurely challenge, one that can be completed at one’s own pace, with it brings a full appreciation of the Dales.

The Challenge

The ‘Dales 30’ are the mountains in the Yorkshire Dales National Park over 2,000 feet with a 30 metre drop on all sides (100 foot when all said and done). Want to try and climb them all?
